An ice cream revolution is here led by the new initiative from Perfect Day, a Silicone Valley startup that provides alternative dairy protein. It is now backing the newborn Urgent Company and its first-ever official lactose-free ice cream variety — Brave Robot.
The Perfect Day’s dairy protein in Brave Robot can be described as a legitimate vegan option, no less delicious or nutritious than the regular kind usually received from cows. The difference is, no animal is ever harmed during the production of this ice cream. It does not rely on the industry which is often more than cruel to dairy cattle.
According to TechCrunch, the Urgent Company already has 400 pounds of the new ice cream ready to hit the shelves, with 8 different flavors, including Blueberry Pie, Vanilla ‘N Cookies and Raspberry White Truffle.
Perfect Day was co-founded by Ryan Pandya and Perumal Gandhi, vegan scientists who met by accident in an Ireland pub.
