Apple is willing to give more freedom to the developers when it comes to following the App Store rules.
In the latest statement published on the company’s official blog, Apple announced the upcoming changes in policy. According to them, the developers whose app was deemed to be violating the Review Guidelines will be able to submit an appeal — and this includes appealing a certain part of the guidelines as well. Bug fixes will not be delayed over the guideline infringements anymore.
However, Apple still has to elaborate on how exactly it is going to process the potential appeals on its end. But since the mentioned guideline updates are promised to be introduced during the summer, more information is probably yet to come.
