Jessica grew up in Milwaukee and her father's vintage camera used to be more precious for her than any Barbie doll. She used to film "weather broadcasts" in her backyard, or interview the neighbors about important issues such as lack of chocolate milk in a cornerstone. After getting a BA in Film and Media
from the American University School of Communication, Jessica moved to Miami. She's currently co-running a non-profit organization that helps young filmmakers and writes for Neon Star, The Courier, and other outlets. But her main reporter gig is at the Jupiter Today project, and we couldn't be prouder.
