China Leads The Way On Mini-Apps

They can call it app fatigue or too wieldy. Only the inclination to download an app is on the wane. This has caused the introduction of the mini-app which downloads only part of the app you need.  This has prompted all the big players to provide the means to do this with little effort to satisfy the demand. Think of it as getting things down with filling your phone storage with the full app. Taking up valuable space which you will never need to use in full. China has taken a lead in this and its audience has been using these mini-apps for quite some time. By satisfying their audience’s needs they are streets ahead of others in this.

To be fair it is not the first time that they have taken the lead when it comes to technology. Having everyone else playing catch up.

William is our Associate Editor, providing the freshest scientific news. Here’s a secret: William is actually quite a famous Op-Ed columnist for another site. But he uses pseudonyms there, and we will never tell. After all, we couldn’t get luckier — having him provide us with the freshest scientific news. William was born in Palo Alto, which obviously had a major impact on his love for science. However, there was a time when he seriously considered becoming a punk rocker — he had the garage band and all. Next thing William knew he was majoring in Computational Science, running columns for The Alto Sheet, The Californian and The Pacific Vision. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t play his guitar anymore. You should hear his punk rock version of Careless Whisper.
