One of Jupiter’s moons offered a chance at new new images. Showing large amounts of volcanic activity they have been released for public viewing. This happens as the moon goes into Jupiter’s shadow which causes instability. The pictures are of such high quality that they are truly remarkable in their clarity. Recently taken at the Chile observatory they are simply stunning. There is a lot of activity. As a result,we still don’t know whether it is gaseous underpinnings that are causing them or volcanic. Consequently, the moon-sized planet orbiting Jupiter. Is very active as a volcanic moon in our solar system. The pictures will help scientists get a better view of what is actually happening on its surface.
It is truly amazing because we are talking about -275 degrees as its ambient temperature yet there is this volcanic activity.
