United Airlines Starts Pre Flight COVID 19 Tests On Trans Atlantic Flight

Looking to what the future holds for air travel new methods are being trialled.  This is happening on one of the busiest routes in an attempt to secure a safe corridor. There have been procedures introduced to ensure everyone on board is COVID 19 free. This is being done with tests on passengers pre-boarding. Until now passengers have had to self-quarantine when arriving at one of the countries involved. Masks and self-distancing are also in force on the flight. Food being served has been hermetically sealed to show no one has touched it while serving. These procedures are being expanded to take effect on three flights a week instead of the current one. It is these kind of measures that will prove effective. Restoring the regular flights between these two important trading partners.
